Film Camera
In this stage I have explored the film camera and the processes you have to go through to create the final image. For these images I have take photos of a variation of natural forms, to show how the film camera captures and presents these natural forms. I also explore the photographers Mike and Doug Starn, as they use nature and different natural aspects to focus on for their work.

Exposer Time
Here is where I have tested out the exposer time on the enlarger. this allows me to know how long I will need to expose an project the film image onto the photographic paper.

Full set of photographs
For this process I stated by loading a roll of film into a film camera, I then went outside on a light day and took photographs of different natural forms. After this I went through the process of developing the film, this all had to be done in the dark as the film can't be exposed. I used a light tight bag to do so, which allowed only my hands inside meaning I couldn't see and I had to navigate and feel the different parts of the process. I started with unloading the film from the film camera and then cutting off the end of the film. After this I then went onto rolling the film onto the Plastic roller part, this then allowed me to place this into a container which is light tight. this ment I could then take it out of the bag and processed the process in the darkroom. I went through the process of chemical processing the film in this tub and then leaving it overnight to dry. once they were dry I could then exposed them onto photographic paper and chemical process them. I also upload them digital and inverted the image.
set 1
Here is my first set of film camera photos I have taken with a film camera, which I have edited to be inverted and leveled allowing a more clearer view of the details within the photos. From my overall selection, I have selected the photos that look the best as they are the most clearest to see. The way the film camera has presented these natural forms shows a different aspect to photography and shows that the film camera allows you to have the same control as a manual camera. On the other hand it still shows the camera- less technique and how even though there are similarities, the processes is of a camera less technique as you can't see your images until you go in the darkroom and chemical processes them.
